Job Overview:
The Solar Project Incharge is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure the project adheres to regulatory and industry standards.
- Oversee site assessment and feasibility studies.
- Site Management & Supervision:
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of solar systems.
- Address technical issues and ensure quality control.
- Team Coordination & Leadership:
- Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring effective communication.
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Vendor & Client Management:
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors for procurement and services.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide project updates.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain project documentation, including progress reports and financial records.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum one year of experience in solar project management.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, grid integration, and energy storage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Preferred Certifications:
- PMP Certification (preferred).
- Certification in Solar Energy or Renewable Energy.
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: 3.6 LPA to 5 LPA
